Lana Marais

Lana joined EMWIN in February 2000.
She is the Managing Director of EMWIN.

Lana graduated with a B.Compt from the University of South Africa.
She obtained an MBA at the University of the North West (Potchefstroom campus).

Her script is of particular relevance to our clients as its focus is on implementing computerized management systems at construction companies.

Wikus Hattingh

Wikus is the Senior Programmer and Technical Director of EMWIN Systems.
He joined EMWIN in 2005.

Wikus has been a Software Developer in the Visual Basic Environment since 1999.
He has been the driving force behind the development of EJM SQL and getting EMWIN on the Cloud.

Alida Potgieter

Alida is EMWIN's Training and Support Director.

Alida graduated from the University of the North West with a B.Com (CA) and a B.Com Hon. in Cost & Management Accounting. She joined EMWIN in 2010.

An avid mountaineer, she will make a molehill out of your mountain with the application of EJM's technologies.

Nicola loves people.

She enjoys cold-calling - a task that most dread - but who would not enjoy receiving a call from this bubbly personality, extolling the virtues of EMWIN?

Support

Sakhele July

Sakhele obtained a BSc (Hons) in Quantity Surveying from the University of the Free State and is a member of the Association of South African Quantity Surveyors. Sakhele has excellent interpersonal skills that have been developed while serving as a facilitator and various leadership roles as a student and as youth leader in the Presbyterian Church.

He gained extensive quantity surveying and cost management experience over 7 years in the construction industry – two of them using EJM systems. With his interpersonal skills, solid academic foundation, and appropriate built-environment experience, Sakhele is a valuable member of the Team.

Payroll Services

Norman Marshall

Norman is in charge of our Payroll Bureau, providing an accurate, timeous service to the thousands of employees ours that depend on it.

Norman has 10 years of experience in running a small business and intimately understands the importance of running an efficient payroll service.

Programmers

Ludwig Everson

Ludwig is a professional engineer with an M.Sc in Electrical engineering. He wrote various modules for EJM, such as the scheduling, cashflow forecast and QTO for our Cloud-based Project system.

He is passionate about the environment and built the Earthship, a self-sustained house with a zero carbon and water footprint. He has a special interest in solar systems and has designed and constructed a number of them.

Johan Potgieter

Johan is an IT Specialist who brings a wealth of expertise to the development of EJM's web-based system.

He obtained his diploma in programming from CTU in Potchefstroom and has subsequently also been accredited with a Microsoft MCSD and MCP. With his in-depth knowledge of C#, Java and App development, he adds immense value to the overall offering we are able to provide our clients

Francois Snyman

Francois has 10 years of experience in IT support followed by 6 years programming control systems for industrial refrigerators.

After joining EMWIN 4 years ago, he was initially part of the team that wrote the Cloud-based payroll system. Since its completion a year ago, Francois joined the team that developed EJM's Cloud-based estimating system.

Piet Bekker

Piet Bekker is a junior programmer working as understudy to Francois Snyman on various aspects of the EJM System.

Piet has a strong background in the IT industry in both hardware and software support.
